About OAC Cyber Safety Brief
Every morning, on behalf of the Old Apostolic Church, we share one real, verified scam or cyber-crime incident affecting South Africans — explained simply, with clear steps to stay safe. No jargon, no fear-mongering — just what our congregation needs to know to protect themselves and the people they love.
Why we do this
Scammers target older South Africans because they know phone calls, SMSes and WhatsApp messages are trusted. A little awareness, shared often, is one of the best defences we have.
